Winton Willesee

Non-Executive Chairman

Winton has served as a director of the Company since 8 July 2016.

Winton is an experienced company director. He brings a broad range of skills and experience in strategy, company development, corporate governance, company public listings, merger and acquisition transactions and corporate finance.

He has considerable experience with ASX listed and other companies over a broad range of industries, having held directorships, chairmanships and company secretarial positions with a number of ASX-listed companies over many years.

Winton is currently a Non-Executive Director of MMJ Group Holdings Limited (MMJ), Nanollose Limited (NC6) and Neurotech International Limited (NTI).


Aldo Miccio

Executive Director

Prior to co-founding NZCS, Aldo was the mayor of Nelson, New Zealand, and prior to that served as a Councillor of Nelson, beginning in 2007. He is a Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand.

In 2010, Aldo successfully sold Bissi Ltd, an apparel company he had started in 1998 and which, at its peak, grew to over A$15 million in annual sales.

Aldo does not currently hold any other directorships of public companies.

Jourdan Thompson

Non-Executive Director

Jourdan is currently the Chief Financial Executive of Keytone Dairy Corporation Limited (ASX:KTD) and is an experienced FMCG executive. In addition, Jourdan has over 15 years’ industry experience in investment banking, finance and restructuring both in Australia and Europe. Jourdan has spent the last 10 years in investment banking, working most recently for Greenhill & Co. as a director.

Jourdan is not currently a director of any public companies.

Erlyn Dale

Non-Executive Director / Company Secretary

Eryln has served as a director of the Company since 8 July 2016.

Eryln is an experienced corporate professional with a broad range of corporate governance and capital markets experience, having been involved with several public company listings, merger and acquisition transactions and capital raisings for ASX-listed companies across a diverse range of industries.

Eryln has previously held Non-Executive Director and company secretary positions at several ASX-listed companies. She is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia/Chartered Secretary.

Evan Hayes

Non-Executive Director

Mr Hayes is a highly accomplished Executive and Non-Executive Director with broad strategic experience across a portfolio of board positions, and substantial experience in the health industry including senior Management product development and operations roles with Factors Group , Blackmores and BioCeuticals.

He is currently Asia Pacific Managing Director of Factors Group, Canada’s largest natural health company and a Director of MGC Pharma, an ASX and LSE listed biotech company.
He holds qualifications in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, six sigma, auditing and business management, and over 10 years’ executive and non-executive director experience across public, private and ASX organisations.

As a highly respected scientist, specialising in medicines, both natural and biotech, he has the unique capability of leveraging deep technical skills to develop real commercial outcomes. Mr Hayes is particularly specialised in the management, set up and scaling of start-up organisations, where there is a fast-moving environment balancing a need for strategy, scale, business development, overseas expansion, risk and compliance.

Nathan Maxwell-McGinn

Non-Executive Director

Mr Maxwell-McGinn is a co-founder, shareholder and marketing manager of JSJ Seafood Pty Ltd (“JSJ Seafood”), a company which exports over $50 million annually of Australian and International seafood to Asia, under the “Three Capes” brand.  JSJ Seafood was formed in 2016 and is currently the largest exporter of rock lobster from Tasmania, with an established trading and marketing division “Three Capes”, which utilises an extensive customer network to market, promote and drive sales for selected clients globally.

JSJ Seafood has experienced continued high growth since launching in 2016, demonstrating Mr Maxwell-McGinn’s ability to achieve financial growth and strategic milestones, driven by his significant marketing experience and international contacts within the seafood sector.

He holds significant experience in international trade, marketing, business and brand development, and has assisted companies in Europe, South America and Africa develop new markets in Asia.

Former roles include Business Development Manager of Kailis Bros / Legend Group Holdings, with Mr Maxwell-McGinn joining the company after the takeover of Kailis Bros by Legend Group Holdings (Hong Kong). Under this role, he managed the export team and developed key relationships with partners globally, launched the Kailis Brother export brand in Asia, and established retail presence in HK.

He is the chair of the Seafood Trade Advisory Group, a group that has developed key Government relationships in Canberra to provide advice on Free Trade Agreements and Trade and Market access issues.

Mr Maxwell-McGinn also holds an MBA, has completed executive education at Harvard University until, and until recently, been an active board member for the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce advocating for Export businesses in Western Australia.

Andrew Peti

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew has more than 14 years’ commercial experience in the seafood industry including 8 years as Operations Manager at Ngai Tahu Seafoods.

Experienced in managing large scale commercial projects and multi-site infrastructure upgrades particularly in the world of New Zealand seafood, Andrew brings a depth of knowledge of industry alongside significant experience in seafood export into China, with a strong understanding of the unique regulatory framework, processes and personnel requirements.

Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Canterbury and has previously held several NZ Fisheries Commercial Stakeholder management appointments in NZ including the Bluff Oyster Management Committee, South East Finfish and regional South Island Paua (Abalone) Fisheries Groups.

Peter Win

GM Business Development

Prior to co-founding NZCS, Peter founded and managed Elanz Limited, a niche food and beverage business that exported locally produced premium products to international markets.

Prior to that, he worked on a number of large oil and gas projects across Africa, China and Europe and has obtained a number of certifications in marine engineering.

Peter Fletcher

Chief of Sales

Mr Fletcher holds extensive sales experience in the seafood industry as well as a strong international network of distributors, wholesalers and other contacts. Mr Fletchers previous roles have included the National Key Account Sales Manager, at Talley’s Group, an international company founded in 1936 providing sales and distribution services for seafood and other food products and General Manager of Operations at Bidfood, a leading New Zealand wholesale food distributor providing the foodservice and hospitality industry with a complete range of food and non-food products, distributing over 20,000 products to more 15,000 customers.

Alexander Li

Head of Operations

Mr Li is Head of Operations at New Zealand Coastal Seafoods and is one of the co-founders of NZCS.  Mr Li has had extensive experience in the New Zealand and Chinese dried seafood industry since 1989, bringing his  knowledge and experience to his current role.  Prior to establishing NZCS, Mr Li was involved in the development of natural dietary supplements and health and beauty products.

Rob Wells

Chief Financial Officer

Rob has a wealth of experience in systems development, reporting and measurement in the manufacturing industry.

He has worked with multi-million dollar organisations operating across regions, managing multi-currency environments and delivering portfolio performance and forecasting to equip executive decision making. Robs depth of knowledge includes capital forecasting, cost analysis and risk management.

Anna-Lee Fraser

Product Development Manager

Anna-Lee Fraser is an experienced business and product development manager with more than 5 years experience in export sales and operations between New Zealand and Asia.

Managing both branded and private label contracts across China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea and Australia, Anna-Lee brings extensive knowledge of supply chain, risk and compliance requirements for exporting products into Asia that will benefit New Zealand Coastal Seafood clients, and their customers alike.
